Reggie Nelson is at camp in Napa for the Raiders and says he’s 100 percent.

Reggie Nelson is alive and well.

The Raiders’ free agent acquisition at safety was presented in person Thursday for the first time since signing a two-year deal with Oakland in April.

Nelson, a 2015 Pro Bowl selection, sat out the offseason program with an undisclosed injury and had only spoken with the media via conference call since joining the Raiders.

But with the team set to open camp Friday, the team checked in to the Napa Valley Marriott on Thursday to begin preparing for a season of high expectations.

Nelson has been in Napa all week, as he joined quarterbacks, rookies and other rehabbing players who started workouts on Sunday. He left vague what ailment kept him out of OTAs and minicamp, but said he’s feeling good now.

“I’ve been 100 percent,” Nelson said. “You just haven’t seen me.”

Nelson, however, wouldn’t commit to being ready to go when the team has its first full workout Friday or puts on the pads in a few days.

“I’m going about it, doing the process, continuing on getting out there to the field and when coach says that he wants me full go, then that’s when it’ll happen,” Nelson said.

Nelson tied for the NFL lead last season with eight interceptions to earn a trip to his first Pro Bowl. At 32 and entering his 10th NFL season, he doesn’t expect his missed time with the team to make a large impact.

“I kind of know what to expect,” Nelson said. “It’s 10 years. I don’t think too much is going to change with camp and everything. I know what to do and the mindset of getting that job done so I don’t think it set me back. I was just dealing with some issues and I’m good.”
